Hey Guys,
Having a weird issue here. Every time I open a folder (in thumbnail view) that contains a movie, I have Windows installer briefly popup and then close. If there are multiple movies it will keep doing this over and over again. I enabled windows installer logging and this is what is outputed:
So I searched google for '{C1C6767D-B395-43CB-BF99-051B58B86DA6}' and I get a bunch of HJT logs saying the program is called Photosmart. Photosmart is a HP program which I uninstalled a while back and have been having this problem since. I searched the registry for {C1C6767D-B395-43CB-BF99-051B58B86DA6} and nothing is returned :sigh: I don't have the HP install disks to reinstall the program and I can't find anywhere to download/reinstall.
Any ideas on how to remove this association it has with all my movies. Trying to use picasa to edit movies is verrrry annoying as I have to wait for the windows installer to load then close before I can watch/edit the video.
Thanks!
Edit: Noticed that it seems to be only with AVI files.
