webcam

i'm not sure where else i can put this so i stuck it here.

is there a way to use my canon sd300 digital camera as a webcam for msn? i've plugged it in, and use the audio/video set up wizard thingy and it recieves video but when i try to use it it says that it doesn't detect a camera.

i do not think the MSN software knows how to use the Camcorder as a web cam. The software would have to support this.

The good news is you can pick up a web cam cheap. I have seen them under $20 here in the states.
