My new computer came with a pre-installed Crystal Eye, 1.3 megapixel webcam. While the computer's own own webcam program runs it fine (the picture and everything is clear), it will not show up on websites on which one can connect their webcam. When I click "allow" in the adobe flash settings, it merely shows a black screen.

I've tested this on multiple sites, and the screen where the webcam should be showing appears black on all of them. I've already checked the device manager, and the webcam is indeed listed without any symbols by it.

Also, I have Windows 7.
Advice would be appreciated.

If you are getting a picture in the webcam software, then the cam and drivers are working. It would appear to be a configuration issue. Could be the browser, java, or firewall.
