Hi, its been a long while now, i missed the forum.
i have an aspire 5580 and i install windows 7 on it and all other drivers and devices are working except the webcam (1.3 mega). i have tried to search drivers for it and install it but still not working because when i checked the device manager, it indicate only the usb 2.0 camera driver not install. But acer do not support windows 7 on this model. i ll appreciate it if anyone could me to get this camera working. this are the drivers i have tried: Biscon, logicteck, suyin. thanks for your anticipated reply

try the vista Logitech drivers.

Try the Vista drivers from the manufacturer's site.

The only reliable source of drivers is the laptop manufacturer. This is one of the reasons you DON'T upgrade laptops.

Trial and error to try and find a driver version that works. Otherwise simply get an external cam.
