Hello

I'm running:
a)Vista 64BIT and UAC is turned off with IE8 and
b)Win XP 32 bit with IE 6

Under b) I can display a specific webpage (which includes som JS and Ajax) without any problems
Under a) I can't display the page

Are there any known security issues? Do I enable some security settings within Vista or IE8?

Thanks!

IE8 is still buggy, i would recommend that you use IE7. However, what page won't it load? What security software is installed?

I tried to open the following webpage under those circumstances:
a)Vista 64bit, AntiVir and the WinFirewall is turned on. I can't open the website with Google Chrome 2.0, Firefox 3.1 and InternetExplorer 8.0. UAC Is turned of.
IE7 wont work as well...
b)Win XP SP3, Antivir, IE6 and FF3.1 both of them can display the website.

The webpage contains some Javascripts and some AJAX- Calls.

Therefore I suggest that this is a typical problem with Win Vista and the security settings. But I don't know where I should look into...

I don't see what website it is your trying to open. Have you tried disabling all the security software?
