Web Server Problem

Hello, I'm new to web serving and I have recently started up braindeadworkshop.dhs.org with 2 of my friends, we are running a dhs server off of my computer with Apache for windows. The server itself is working fine, no problems there. The problem is that the only way I can look at the site is by entering

http://localhost

if i do enter the site http://braindeadworkshop.dhs.org
i get a page can not be displayed error.

this isn't a problem for the most part, however I can't view my own cgi scripts because the code (for my hit counter) requires that I use the full site name and not localhost.

can anyone help me fix my internet settings to allow me to enter the actual site address instead of localhost and still be able to view the page??

The domain name is by a company that does dynamic hosting correct? That is why the DHS.ORG is there, correct?
yeah it's some dhs company,

not sure which one cause I wasn't the one who set up the account with them, it was my friend who is working on the site with me
I just tried the site from my computer and it came up fine. I haven't seen any errors yet. Hmm.... I'm not too familar with setting up a websever, let alone one with windows. I'll have to see if I can find something out from Apache. Or maybe someone else here might know a bit more.
alright,

well I don't think it's a problem with the server (unless its a line of code in the server script)

i figured it may be a problem with my internet settings,

but if you could find out some info for me I'd really appriciate it.

thanks.
