You would need to write a server-side script to find this--or you can google search a bit and find something.

Other than that I can't really help because I've never used the program in question.

Hey, your question is quite vague, but it sounds as if you already have view-counting code already?

If you do then all you have to do is find the view source function in web-easy 7 (which i'm sure won't be easy)... same as ahmorrow i haven't used web easy so i can't tell you where that is...

If you find it and don't know where to paste then please do post back with both sections of code.

Cheers,
Jamey

DONT PURCHASE WEB EASY PRO 8. It is worthless trash and nobody should spend money on it. Excuse the harsh views but there are literally no threads around here that put web easy in a good light and hundreds that prove that it is worthless.

I completely respect your opinion but personally I think Web Easy gets bad reviews because it's simply not easy to learn. The fact that their tech support isn't exactly up to par and the owners manual is basically one big joke doesn't help either. However, Web Easy does eliminate most of the need to learn any html or other languages. Once I got the hang of it, making websites with this program became very quick and simple.

On the other hand, if I knew html, css, javascript, actionscript..etc, I would much rather get a program like Microsoft's Expression Web or Adobe's Dreamweaver.

I severely agree with RedEye, DW has a mellower learning curve than WebEasy... Anyway, the #1 problem with Web easy is that it produces sites that can only be properly displayed in IE. Which leads uneducated users to confusion and posting here which throws up hundreds of other problems. It gets a bad rep because it is terrible software. There are hundreds of posts about Web Easy here and i'd say 1/4 of them are resolved because the software is dire and it provokes people to not learn any code... leading them to not being able to fix their problems with our help...

That and WYSIWYG editors need to change it to WYSIWYGS editors. The last part being sometimes ;-)

I was told my the Web Easy Pro 8 sales that the program will work with Windows 7 - 64 bit. Now to find out after 7 months of learning it and building websites............my time just ran out. Tried to reinstall it, would not take my Serial #. Techs and everyone tried to fix my problem..........but no go. Windows 7 Home Premium - 64 bit....Don't use Web Easy. You can find this under Insert>Objects>Visitor's Counter.

I believe you have a few to select from. The first time I did it, I put one from WE and then went to the code and changed it to the one I wanted. Pretty easy.

How come you all don't use CMS? I have more calls for Content Management Systems and changes than I do with CSS/HTML. They all want the interactive content.

I found that since I know Web Easy so well that learning a new program would not be fun!:4-dontkno:wave:

The creator of this thread has one post (the one that started this thread, no less). I therefore find it very unlikely that this user will return to this thread, given the time that has elapsed between the user's last post on this thread.

This thread is now closed. Please read the date of the last post before posting a reply. Dredging up old topics is irritating at best.

Thank you.
