hello everyone.
I have a WD1600 that was in an E-Machine. I just bought a new system and decided to do an external HDD with the 1600. No problem there, except that it can only view part of the drive. My own personal folder comes up as "empty".
When I look at the used space it shows 29gb of 160 free. I can view aprox. 20gb, the rest is in my personal folder.
Now..when the emachine is turned on you choose the login section and I would type my password.
Could this be interfering with my ability to access my files? and if so, how can I access them.
