Wavy Lines on Radeon 9500 PRO

Hope somebody can help with this one.... I have a Radeon 9500 PRO card in my newly-completed computer. I am using a Samsung SyncMaster 900IFT monitor which has worked fine with my other computer. I get these horizontal scrolling lines on my display. Sometimes they are going up, other times down. They seem to be the most noticeable on light backgrounds, and usually they appear right after a screen change. I have set the monitor refresh rate to 85hz and am running at 1152x864 resolution. Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? Thank you for your help!

My friend is experiencing something similar to this also. Have you tried any other monitors with this card? If none of them exhibit this problem then it is probably a problem with the monitor (I know you said it worked fine before, but sometimes things just happen). Also try to use that monitor with a different computer to see if it still works as it did before the problem started.
Thanks for your kind suggestions. I will hook up that monitor to the computer that previously had no problems with it.
The new computer has a serial ATA hard-drive, and the manual for the Radeon card says to connect it's power leads to the hard-drive and to power supply. I did this, but wonder if the video card might possibly be picking up interference from the hard-drive.
