Every day I get 10 warnings in my event viewer.
The event ids range from 1 till 10 and the source is SimpTcp.

Message e.g.:
1) The Simple TCP/IP Services could not find the TCP Echo port. The service was not started.
2) The Simple TCP/IP Services could not find the UDP Echo port
.......
10) The Simple TCP/IP Services could not find the QOTD-port

Anyone any idea how to solve this?

Thanks for your reply.

In Networking Services all boxes are checked.
The entries for all the ports are in the Services file in c:\windows\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC.

Could it have to do something with my firewall? Currently I'm using Sygate Personal Firewall 5.6.

And what is the simple services good for any way? When do you need this enabled and when not?

You only need it enabled if your pc is communicating with another device that needs that protocol. I have never encountered it before so I have no idea...

It is entirely possible that your firewall is blocking those ports...try disabling it and see if your errors go away, or just allow those specific ports through.
