1) I dont know, its a cd and it says microsoft windows xp home editon, then in smaller letters it says "the software included on this cd rom has been pre-installed on your hard drive. this cd may be used for backup and recovery of your computer system. 3) Do you know how to Fdisk and Format a drive
If you do then its no problem, boot to dos using a bootdisk, Fdisk the thing, then just put in the XP disk and create a new partition during setup...I guess you could technically even delete the current partition then create a new one all in XP setup, and skip the booting to Dos and Fdisking thing...thats just the way I do it.
