i have mercury P4M266 mother board , 1.5 GHz pentium 4 processor .

i want to upgrade my processor because a lot of new games doesn't
run on this cpu speed.

plese tell me what max. speed processor my mobo can support.

From the looks of it its a 478 motherboard, all i was able to find was that it supports only pentium 4's and celerons up to 400mhz fsb. Tried the mercury website but doesnt seem to be working. The best you could put in it would be a higher pentium 4 and unless the board supports 3.0ghz and up I dont think you would see much improvement. But ill keep looking arround.
