You have an unmanaged 10/100 switch, so there is no configuration, and it has no IP address. There is no "control", you just plug in the cables and use it. :smile: It also has auto-MDX, so no crossover cables are necessary to connect to any other type of Ethernet device.

I have been given a switch (D-Link DES-1016d) and want to know how it
works and how i can use it. I have 4 computer to play with to see how the switch works can any body help
1) is there a ip adress to access the switch settings?
2) can i contol the switch ect ect
