W7 won't d/l pictures from camera anymore.

I didn't change anything, but when I plug my camera into the usb port, Windows won't d/l the pictures anymore. I have to manually go into the folder on the camera, cut, then paste where I want them. Obviously this is a pita. I'm using a Sony Cyber shot that has it's own program called PMB, and it also will not automatically come up anymore either. I can't even manually do it from that program.

I can hear the sound it makes when a device is plugged in, but neither the W7 picture d/l nor the PMB program will function.

Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling the PMB program? Check Sony's website with your camera model and see if they have an updated version of the software available for download.

I'll try that, but why doesn't the Windows downloader come up anymore? I actually preferred it over the camera's PMB software.
Do you mean the Windows Autoplay feature, where the box pops up and asks you what you want to do with the files? If that's it, I believe that feature was disabled in Windows with one of the recent Windows updates.

Not quite. It's still there, but apparently the update changed it so that you have to go into the Control Panel and change the options for what you want it to do.

I also uninstalled then reinstalled PMB, that worked too.
