W2k Pro Install

I am trying to install W2K Pro on a system, PIII-800, 256RAM, 2-40GB hard drives, Raid controller, HighPoint tech, 370-372 with the latest download from highpoint-tech.com. After going thru the first phase, then inti the second phase, I receive an error saying that the "Digital signiture" is not valid with MS. and the system may not run right. Is the RAID driver software the problem?
Thanks,
Dave

Have you set up the RAID ARRAY in the bios?

Are you going to run Raid 0 or Raid 1?

Did you fdisk and format after you set up your raid array?

Are both hard drives the same brand?
I'm running RAID 1, mirrored HD's. I have found out this AM that the digital sign. from Highpoint-tech is the problem. I am going to completey Fdisk, and reload everything. ONE MORE TIME!!!!!!
Thanks,
Dave
It's almost certainly the driver from Highoint-tech. I had the same problem with my Promise Fasttrak RAID controller driver. Neither Win2K or XP builtin drivers would work with it, and I finally had do go with what amounted to a hacked driver from Win98. It worked so I'm not complaining. Unless you have some reason to mistrust Hightech's driver I wouldn't worry about it.

Curious as to why you chose RAID 1 mirroring instead of RAID 0 disk striping?

I would go to the motherboard manufacturers site and see if they have an updated driver.
Well, I have i loaded now, have had no problems for 3 days.
Thanks fo rthe advice and help.
