Scoured the web, common message it seems... Using the Network Share Form (NET VIEW \\SHARE_NAME) it works fine. If I open Windows File Manager to the network I can see everything BUT my PC... and on my wife's PC she can see me as everything else?
My 'Network view':
From her PC the 'Network view':
Her PC is on W10 Pro while I'm one W11 Home. Also, her PC can't seem to see the Router? No big deal, but unsure why?
Like I said, using the share name works;
==================
PS C:\> net view \\irvxps8940
Shared resources at \\irvxps8940
Irv's XPS8940
Share name Type Used as Comment
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C Disk
K Disk
L Disk
MachineKeys Disk
Users Disk
The command completed successfully.
=====================
No problem seeing my PC and all its shares (I don't recall seeing the MachineKeys before though).
I've checked and double checked ALL the items and suggested remedies on the web, every one of them was already enabled or installed.
Basically why doesn't my PC show on my PC's Windows Explorer, or just the Net View command and it returns an error if I don't use the Share_name?
Stumped....
Suggestions?
