Vocal POST Messages

I do not get any voice messages during bootup. I have "quiet boot" disabled in BIOS to display normal POST messages vs OEM Logo. I also have "Speech POST Reporter", "Report IDE Error", and Report System Booting" enabled. I can play the messages in the Winbond Voice Editor but I don't hear any message during bootup. What am I missing??

It should report any problems, but I don't have any that I know of. There are, however, messages indicating POST is complete, etc, which should play even though there are no problems to report.
Is the speaker connected to the motherboard?
Speaker is connected....I can hear the beeps as it finds USB, etc.

There's your answer!
No voice messages with the BIOS set to "Auto" which is the only other option besides "disabled".
Are your speakers hooked up, powered, with volume turned up?
Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 ... hooked up and working.
You won't get any sounds from your BIOS voice diagnostics unless you use the on-board sound hardware. It's not possible for them to program the BIOS to drive all the 3rd party sound boards in the world, that's why it doesn't work.
I kind of suspected that. Anyhow, thanks for all the replies everyone....I appreciate it..
