Hi,
I use Visual Studio 2010 Premium as a programming environment and I recently get my hands on a VS 2012.
Eager as I am to install it and start with this tool, I am a bit concerned about the downwards compatibility of VS 2012.
As it seems to be impossible to install VS 2012 next to VS 2010.
Searching the Net has somewhat confirmed this concern.
Most of the tools I have made are written in C# Net 3.5.
Reading those articles at MSDN this means I have to upgrade my tools to Net 4.0 for compatibility sakes.
My question(s) now is (are):
Anyone who have experiance with this and more important : did you encounter problems with doing so?
What's the best practice to upgrade my tools to Net 4.0 without risking to dammage the source code?
Thanks
