How do you remove Vista from a laptop computer? Is there a simple fix.

just format the drive. it will get rid of vista

a friend told me to load windows 7.0 and that would wipe off Vista. do you know that to be true?

if there is a restore partition which is usual on laptops and you are not intending to go back to vista

clear the drive with killdisk and then format and install if you have the full version of win 7
