Vista VPN server ability? / Remote Desktop security?

Does anyone know if Vista RTM has any built in VPN server ability as XP did, it seems it doesnt thus far...

Are there any free VPN solutions that will work? IE: openvpn?

This is probably a stupid question, but I have forgotten the exact specifics..

Remote Desktop, particularly with Vista.. is there any way to make it as secure as a vpn connection.. Im assuming the password is sent with clear text via the rdp connection, although I thought there was a way to make it more secure...

I was able to setup my VPN connection by going into network connections, then create new connection. Just like XP. Then to connect to it you just right click on the network icon in the taskbar and tell it connect to a network and it should be listed in there.

I meant as far as using Vista as your VPN server, connecting to your (home) Vista Ultimate machine from anywhere else.

I've heard rumors that openvpn will work.. I've also heard that you can setup a PPTP server type connection? If combining this with an SSL based EAP-TLS situation, I'm guessing this is just as good as IPSEC?

I also just found out that the remote desktop client on Vista can use SSL, and also it doesnt send password info in clear text, so if doing just remote desktop then a vpn isnt really needed.
