I know this sounds like a goofy problem, but I've got a old P4 3.0 that I'm using as a media center, running Vista Ultimate. It plays analog TV fine, plays DVD (video) just great, but when I put a DVD in the drive, and the DVD menu loads up, moving from one choice to another is increadibly slow. On the order of 20-30 seconds from the time i press down to the time that the selection changes.
The mouse seems normal speed when making menu selections though.
I'm using a standard microsoft remote and microsoft IR receiver.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
