After doing three clean installs on my comp with a bought and paid for Vista Ultimate I still have a problem with the windows updates.

About 30 of the 80 updates recommmended/important/optional fails to install properly.

Any ideas why this is happening and how I can solve it?

Specs:
3,5 GB RAM
2,5 Ghz quad core
Vista Ultimate
1 year old
Dell Computer

Any help is greatly appreciated!
