Vista driver disc?

Hey guys, ive got here today a compaq presario SR2170NX that upon start up says Err2Err3. I was trying to update Vista home to premium and all this started to happen after the comp would NOT allow me to upgrade the computer. So now im starting up getting the Err2Err3 error messages, so i throw in the Premium disc to boot to(hp doesnt give driver discs anymore so i dont have the original OS disc..) The disc boots as if it was installing vista.. but as i go through everything it comes up to some driver screen. It needs some sort of drivers to install. Ive searched for the past hour for this driver, estimating its for the SATA hard drive, and ive found 2 drivers that i threw onto my flash drive, the driver screen wont read the cd.., and it doesnt detect neither of the 2 drivers. There is no way to get past this point unless you have the driver.. whatever it may be.

I've tried everything i could, and now im just not sure of even what to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

**UPDATED**.. again
Just found out the hard drive were using is blank.. explains the reason of not being able to upgrade it..... So i tried to do a custom install to make sure it works, and it bsod'd on me. BAD_POOL_CALLER is the error.
Stop: 0x0c2 is the stop error.
