After a long time using Windows Me, I have a new computer and a new OS... Windows Vista
I want to keep my old Mustek gSmart D35 :sigh: as webcam (USB connection)
I connected it but, after driver instalation, computer keep saying I have no Video capture device and "device manager" reports "DSC Images F/W V2.2 " have no proper driver installed.

Can someone help me please? (please forgive me any mistakes, English is not my first language)

download at your own risk...You need a driver for the device that
supports vista. If the link I gave you doesnt work, do a google for
another, or better yet go to there website and see if they have a
driver for vista for the device.
Congratulations on dumping ME, that os was the worst ever,,,imho

I've managed to load the driver (not exactly from the place you pointed, but I google it as you suggested)
Unfortunely nothing changed... I guess that driver is not designed for Vista...and Mustek have no longer support for D35
I will continue my quest and hope for extra support

about Windows ME it was the "missed link" between 98 and XP (lol I guess you know that better than me)... but I had it under control (sort of speaking :grin

ok,,sry for the bad luck with the driver, if I went anywhere it would
be the manufacturers website for the driver. Growing pains with a
new OS I guess. good luck, and your welcome...
