Hi,
I have Sony Vaio VGN-NR110E. I recently upograded my RAM from 1GB to 2GB. I have 2 DDR2 SODIMM RAM sticks, each 1GB.
After the RAM upgrade, my machine works perfectly fine except in a specific situation. Whenever I try to start my machine from Hibernation mode the Blue Screen Dump happens and I have to restart the machine. The crash report is as follows:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.768.3
Locale ID: 4105

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: a
BCP1: 003B65E8
BCP2: 00000002
BCP3: 00000001
BCP4: 81E7C347
OS Version: 6_0_6002
Service Pack: 2_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini120309-01.dmp
C:\Users\md\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-66581-0.sysdata.xml
C:\Users\md\AppData\Local\Temp\WER625A.tmp.version.txt

I tried to look at the txt file but unfortunately it is a blank file. Not sure why this is happening. Any suggestion would be extremely helpful.
Thanks in advance,
MD

are the 2 sticks of ram by the same manufacturer, some times there can be slight compatibility issues with different makers. and check they are seated properly,
might be a good idea to take one out and see if the same problem arises. if so use the other and see if that one does the same.

OK...I think I got it fixed. The RAM sticks were of the same make. I swapped them and have been using them since. They work fine. My guess is that one of the sticks were not installed properly which led to the frequent crashes. Thanks for all the suggestions. Would inform you guys if anything funny happens in a couple of days.
Cheers
