Vista BSOD problems.

Hello! I have a problem with Windows Vista. Yesterday, I defragged my computer to optimize it even if it's just a little. The problem is -- I am unable to boot into it now. I cannot do a System Restore since my defragger deleted them without my awareness which might've led to rescuing me at a time like this. But in my recent knowledge of what I did yesterday, I remember ticking off some autorun entries using Sysinternals Autoruns. This should be the cause of my problems since I used it to take out a few autorun entries I wasn't really familiar with. I've tried repairing using the Startup Repair which didn't work to no avail. I tried to boot into safe mode but I just got a BSOD instead. Is it possible to change the autorun entries again without booting into Vista right now through LiveCD of any sort? I hope I may receive some invaluable information and my increased caution to never do this again without adhering to the consequences.

P.S. I'm using Ubuntu LiveCD right now.

I would suggest you use Ubuntu to move the files you want to keep to an external HDD and reinstall Vista.
