I have a Western Digital MyBook (external drive that connects via Firewire) and an iPhone. Up until about a day or so ago, both were working just fine. I could see both devices in explorer and connect to them without any problems.

Now, I'm no longer able to see them in Explorer. My PC still "sees" the devices on some level because the iPhone will connect and sync with iTunes. (I just can't get to the iPhone as an USB drive from explorer.)

The HD is still listed in the device manager. However it is listed as "This device is not configured correctly." I've tried uninstalling, disabling, reinstalling drivers, different ports and have had no luck getting my machine to see either device. I've rebooted with them plugged in/unplugged, drivers/no drivers, and even tried different ports.

I've also verified that there is nothing wrong with the HD or the iPhone. Both connect flawlessly on my husband's Vista (non 64bit of course) machine. I also have thumb drive that connects (and shows up in explorer with no problems).

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
