Got blue screen of death with Logitech new G15, amber backlight, gaming keyboard. Finally got to safe mode screen and tried the restore to last known good configuration. Now am missing almost all divers, no network, sound card drivers off line, like being in safe mode but booted to the full desktop? Argh! Just got this fine computer perfected and a stupid keyboard driver does this? I also cannot now find any system restore points attempting to go that route!

Any ideas other than a complete Vista install AGAIN! JEEZ, losing everything just spent a month on building is sickening.

I got the BSOD today after installing the new G15 keyboard. I have Vista 64-bit Home Premium and I was previously using the older (blue keys) G15. I think what happens is the new CD installation program defaults to 32-bit. So it installs the 32-bit keyboard drivers, and Windows won't boot.

I fixed mine by selecting the Boot in Safe Mode option. Then went to Control Panel->Device Manager. I found the Logitech keyboard device driver (I think it was under the USB controllers device type tree). I disabled the Logitech driver, and the computer was able to boot. Then I ran the driver installation program from the 64-bit folder on the Logitech CD.

So, if you have Vista 64-bit and the new G15 version 2 (red keys) keyboard, if the Installshield installation program starts when you put in the CD, cancel it, and run the 64-bit version instead.

I think Logitech should have made the installation easier for 64-bit users.
