Hello all, I have recently started saving my dvds to a hdd. I use dvd decrypter and and save an ISO file to my hard drive. I try watching them through WMP and VLC, as well as the classic player provided with windows essential codec pac. The file plays fine and is pretty much enjoyable, but there is some pixelation that is visible during the playback and i dont know how to make adjustments, if possible, to fix it. It is just very irritating to my own eyes. Does anyone have ideas how to fix it? Player? Decryption?

im running
AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 4200+ dual-core processor with AMD64 Technology
2.2 GHz
2000 MHz system bus
L2 cache: 512 KB ×2

with an ATI RADEON 2600xt 512 gddr3 graphics card

If WMP and VLC are showing the same issue, then it isn't a codec problem. Ensure you have the latest video drivers installed. Aside from that, i'd question the files you created. Do you have the same issue when playing the actual DVD?

My drivers are all up to date. The ISO file playback from my computer hard drive is almost identical to the dvd playing from my home system dvd player. When watching from my HDD the pixelation is noticable when there is fast movement during "movie". Is this just a vid card issue? The card is about a year old, but was stated to handle HD playback. Anyways, thank you for your time.
