I have a 366MHz processor, 128MB Ram, Samsung DVD Player and I am using PowerDVD Software. When I play a DVD, the sound and video pauses intermitently. Does anyone have any ideas of a solution to this issue?
I usually will tell people they need a 450-550 or better to play DVD movies, unless there is a hardware DVD decoder present. Have you tried disabling anything running in the background?
There are no TSR's. The PowerDVD Software claims the minimum requirement to be 350MHz. I'm thinking it may have something to do with DMA or possibly something is askew in the advanced features of the card. I will run the diagnostics and hopefully I will find the solution. Any other comments and or suggestions would be helpful. I shall keep you informed.
