Hi all, I have a really annoying problem with my NEW computer.
I play videos in full screen mode, then randomly maybe after 5 mins, sometimes more.
The sound and video just freezes and i cannot do anything other than reset the power.
I experience this problem on.. DVD Movies, Youtube, BBC Iplayer, Google Videos...
Sometimes when I put the videos into fullscreen, it stutters... but if i minimize and then
go full screen again... its ok !?!?!

I have the latest drivers and patches for all my devices and my computer is up to date.
Is this something any of you have come across? and if you could advise a fix...?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Roll your video card drivers back a couple of versions. I have had some problems with the latest versions and corrected them by moving back.
Depending on how long ago your display adapter was packaged, the drivers on the disk might be the best ones.

Good Luck.

Thanks, but that made no difference... so I put them back to the latest.
and now i can run DVD's with no problem, but youtube/google video and AVI files are still a problem.

Any ideas people? Im sure theres just something simple I am probably overlooking.

EDIT: I also put my power settings to performance mode as recommended by somebody on a different folder.
