Hey,

I'm wondering, how can I find out what video cards and sound cards I have? I would like to update them, but I need to know which ones I have first.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Go to Start > Run and type dxdiag
The Display and Sound tabs at the top will give you some basic info about your sound/graphics cards.

You can also click on the 'test' buttons to test your card's DirectX capabilities.

If you're having problems with sound, like stuttering or distortion, go to the Sounds tab and drop the acceleration. This usually helps. And check the More Help tab for troubleshooting.
