oh noez my game is lagging T.T

MINIMUM / RECOMMENDED
CPU: Pentium Celeron 1.4 Ghz / Pentium 4 1.8 Ghz
RAM: 512 MB / 512 MB
Video Card: Geforce 2 / Geforce 4 Ti
Operating System: Windows 2000, XP / Windows XP, Vista
Hard Drive: 2 GB / 4 GB
DirectX: DirectX 8.1 / DirectX 9.0c

My video card: VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP

is this video card good enough for the Geforce 4 Ti requirement? I've seen descriptions for both the video cards but it doesn't make any sense for my small brain >.>

i know i have the recommended system requirement for everything else apart from video card.

VIA VX700 -
VIA UniChrome™ Pro Graphics Core
With an internal data flow equivalent to what is available to the latest AGP 8X graphics cards, VIA UniChrome Pro has a separate 128-bit data path between the North Bridge for pixel data flow and texture/command access. Separate 128-bit 2D and 3D graphics engines ensure optimal performance for all multimedia, entertainment, and productivity applications.

VIA VX800 -
VIA UniChrome™ Pro IGP Graphics Core
The 128-bit 2D graphics engine enables acceleration of high quality graphics features, allowing all productivity applications to run with the best appearance possible while not sacrificing system performance. The 128-bit 3D graphics engines features dual pixel rendering pipes for advanced 3D rendering, and is capable of two textures per pass with a triangle rate up to 4.5 million triangles per second, a pixel rate up to 200 million pixels per second, and a texel bilinear fill rate up to 400 million texels per second.

Hello and welcome to TSF
what is the game you are trying to run?
and yes your card is not good enough because it's integrated in your motherboard and it's pretty old, even a Geforce 4 will do better than your Via/S3 card
also try to lower the resolution and the video settings of the game you are playing

Thanks for the welcome :D

Game is Luna Online from gPotato.

I tried lowering the settings bu it doesn't do much. I guess I'll have to get another video card :/ ... How much does Geforce4ti cost? Do you know?

You'd be hard pressed to get a Geforce 4 series card these days. The 4 series really is very old. What sort of other games do you play, and how much money are you willing to spend on a card? Also, what are the rest of your system specs?

I have a UniChrome II Pro and I have a GeForce 4ti 4600. The UniChrome series are designed for 2D mostly with little in the way of 3D. They are supposed to be DirectX 7 compliant but lack a key feature of that version: Hardware Transform and Lighting.

The Ti series supported DirectX 8.1.

I honestly do not know how much a 4 series card would be. About the only place you would get a 4 series card is by buying a used one, which is not the best option when buying parts for a computer. Depending on where you live, there should be a computer store (not necessarily the average electronics store) where you can buy a video card.
