if someone could please help it would be appreciated
the problem is, i have a geforce fx 5200
and the video is realll laggy and choppy
especially when i host games it gets worse as people join
but when im not hosting its not as bad but it still sucks
i called some places and they told me i needed to get my vid card on its own irq but i dont know how to get it on its own irq
i free'd up some irqs by disablin my serial ports and stuff
but if anyone could give me some pointers or some ideas of what might be causin this please post! thanks!!

look in the bios of your computer to assign irq to vga. You can disable your serial ports there also. Usually Del key on boot or can be f2, f10,f12. Can be other key combos as well. Depends on what kind of computer you have. Just watch the bootup screen to see "Press this key to enter bios"

i already disabled my serial ports and, assign irq to vga is already enabled but there is some acpi funcion or some **** on 11 and i dont think im going to get it off there so im wanting to get my card on another irq

i updated my agp miniport drivers
updated my bios
windows update
via 4in1 drivers
i disabled bios or ram shadowing one of the 2
agp aperture size is set to 128
agp 4x is enabled
the card is 8/4x

Looks fine. You could go in the bios and make sure that power management is set to disable or manual. Leave the acpi alone though.

Check the game site for updates. Maybe there is something wrong with the host. Also check your antivirus/firewall software to see if something is slowing the system down.

and its an older game i have all the updates for it

should i keep power mgmt on manual or disable

Manual works fine. Check your power management in control panel. Make sure you have no screen savers running and that the hardrive doesn't power down unless you are on a laptop.
