I have an NVIDIA Geforce card. At first it was just making a clicking noise. I took it apart, cleaned out the dust, and put it back in. Now it's making a buzzing noise. Is it ok to use WD40? That is all I have.

1st give it a good cleaning without WD40. Compressed air is what I use. If it still makes noise after this, then try a drop or two of oil. To much WD will cause more problems than it solves.

what i do is peel the little sticker off the back, and drop one good drip of clipper oil onto the end of the shaft.

i use hair clipper oil due to it's lightweight properties, it won't slow down the rotation.

Ok, thanks. I will try all of that. In the mean time I will use a different card I originally wanted to use this in my server, but since this is happening, I stuck in a PCI videocard card. I guess server's don't need fancy graphics cards in anyway.
