Most comparisons are done using highly graphical games such as Quake3/UT, Max Payne, stuff like that, and clocking the frames/sec.... I'm not sure there is a definative best program... so unless anyone else has some Ideas I suggest you go to hardware review sites, and see what they use... it all depends on what you want to find out though.

MadOnion is probably the best i have found. Oh, and you might try SiSoft Sandra 2002 also. I really like that one a lot. In fact I keep it on my hd all the time just so i can keep track of my machine.

Try those two and let us know what ya think,
