how do i stop video advertising from comming on when i open ie8, plus when i want to open a a selected video i get video advertising befor the video i want to watch it is very annoying.has anyone got any idears it would be very apprecitive..

Some advertisements like those on www.ign.com can't be stopped and the best you can do is mute it.

Actually, they can be stopped. Firefox + Greasemonkey *or* Stylish = you're best friend.

what r yous on about, i use ie8 as explained in my first thread, when i click on a topic that has a video linked to it advertisments always comes up first, it is a pain in the butt very annoying how do i stop this....

m8 read my post it tells you in there, i use ie8 i click on top stories view a video and there u go adverisment straight up

Seriously, if you want to get rid of ALL ads, try Firefox + Adblock Plus! + Greasemonkey & Stylish + NoScript. I'm telling you, all your video ads will be gone. It's just.. IE is outdated and doesn't block ads and do what you're looking for a browser to do.
