I have visual challenges and have been using a large screen TV/Moniter as my display. I n control Panel the monitor shows as "Generic Pnp Monitor" and in the Nvidia Control panel it is a "Viewsonic N2752w". My delema is as such, what ever I tend to look at is very degraded, ex. a word doc or looking at a web page, like Newegg. The images are not sharp AT ALL. This also includes viewing pic's downloaded from a camera.

The Viewsonic specs are;

I have the computer plugged in to the HDMI in on the monitor (and have also tried the VGA out).

Res is set at 1360 X 768 and easy to read at Medium.

The cable between the card and monitor is a Monster Cable SVGA to HDMI.

Is it my Monitor, setup... What?

Thanks, Tomween1

Thank you, this was already set. I did go through it again, but not much difference.

An example of my viewing, the image at the bottom of your page is not crisp and clean. It's very distorted. Also the "Quote" button I clicked on to answer you is black letters in a grey box. The black letters are also distorted.

This having been said, the text on the page is crisp!

Do you have any other options to connect the two?

Good question, one I forgot to mention. I am only running one card. I put one of the 2 in another system. That having been said, this problem has existed far back as when the 2 cards were installed.
I meant is it possible to connect your card and your TV via a different type of cable?

Got it, sorry. Yes I can use a dvi to vga (dvi on card to vga, LCD in). Won;t this degrade the images even further?
DVI or VGA should work fine as the monitor's resolution isn't very high.

Could it be an inferior cable? I have posted a inquiry on DVI to HDMI cables. Basically asking if there are any superior brands, and what some may suggest.
For HDMI just look for 1.3 or better. Avoid Monster unless you like being taken to the cleaners.
