Very Odd PC Problem, would love some help!

@ Girderman : I'm not sure he tested his system with his parent's Power Unit, I can't find any indications hinting he did in his posts.

@ Soulvision : did you actually try switching your power supply with your parent's one ?
 
Yup, if the monitor is working fine, try to swap the PSU's.

But test the monitor first. After all, the single bip you hear when you power your computer is usually the sign of a healthy system.
 
450W should be safe, as your cpu and graphic card will not be put under stress during boot process. You could strip down the system a bit by removing unneccessary floppy, cd, and secondary hdd drives to lower the needed wattage if yours parents PSU is lower than that.

I read this topic in diagonals, but have you actually checked your screen was still functionnal ? Have you seen it work on another computer since your computer refuses to boot ?
