Very frustrating problem

1412 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  Pancake
For a few days now my PC would randomly reboot itself. Just yesterday I started getting a pop-up saying Windows\System32\services.exe has Terminated Unexpectedly ref -1073741819. I did a search in Google and kind of found a solution. I no longer get the pop-up but my PC still reboots, specially when I try to run an anti-virus/window washer type program. I have tried running Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, Spy Sweeper, and AVG Anti-Spyware (which is what apparently got rid of the pop-up). I also did a System File check. I have tried updating Windows to no avail and I tried running the Symantec blaster worm tool which locked up with errors. I have run out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is the HJT log:

Please download FixWareout

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

When your system reboots, follow the prompts. Afterwards, HijackThis will launch. Please click Scan, and check the following items:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Syetwlyns] C:\WINDOWS\system32\algesteiyl.exe
O17 - HKLM\System\CS1\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer =
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer =
O20 - AppInit_DLLs: c:\windows\system32\ldcore.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: cddebudu - cddebudu.dll (file missing)

Open Windows Explorer and delete the following highlighted file/s

Should you have problems connecting to the internet after the fix, follow these instrutions.

Please go to Start -> Control Panel Network Connections. Rightclick on your default connection (usually Local Area Connection or Dial-up Connection if you are using Dial-up) and leftclick on Properties. Doubleclick on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the button that says "Obtain DNS servers automatically". Click OK twice, and restart your computer.

Please download, update and run (one at a time of course!) Spybot Search & Destroy v1.4 and Ad-aware SE v1.06 . Fix whatever they suggest.

If you would like to learn more about how to use these two programs with the proper settings you can read the tutorials below:

Using Ad-aware to remove Spyware, Malware, & Hijackers from Your Computer:

Using Spybot - Search & Destroy to remove Spyware, Malware, & Hijackers from Your Computer.

Post a new log when done.....
