To start, my current network setup is as follows:
I have two internet connections, from two completely separate providers. They are both currently connected to my computer (Operating on Windows Vista Home Premium).
I was wondering how (if) I could go about setting up the connections so that I could use them in one of two ways:
1) Together, in order to combine their bandwidth availability (faster internet speeds). Think RAID, but for internet connections. I guess you could call it load-balancing in a way. But I don't want to have to buy more hardware. If possible, I'd like to do it with software.
2) If this is not possible, I want to find some software that will let me specify which connection specific applications should use, and then if no connection is specified for an application, have it use a default connection that I select.
I've asked my friends, and no one knows, thought I'd try the experts! Thanks in advance for the help everyone! If you need more info, please ask!
