Hi, New to this so dont know the proper proceedure,but!!! I have turned off auto complete on one of the web sites I visit (foolish) also checked the box "dont ask me again" (totally stupid) Can any one help me get the password box back please. I have tried the tools/internet options/content/autocomplete tabs but for all ather sites it is on. It is just the one I told it not to ask me again that I would like to ask me again. PLEASE help as I dont have much hair left. :upset:

Hi rangie rover, welcome to TSF...

have you tried disabling the 'prompt me to save passwords' feature then restarting IE then reenable it and restart it again?


If that doesn't work, you may want to consider flushing the saved passwords cache and starting again. Not too helpful but even if you have about 30 websites which you save passwords for, it shouldn't take too long to set them up again. Plus you can backup the registry keys which hold the encrypted information if need be.

Also...in future, please refrain from using other people's thread for you own problems (hijacking). Even if the subject is similar, it's best to start your own thread.
