Hi folks,
I'm running windows xp home and recently I've noticed this screen popping up when I boot windows telling me that it's scanning my systems for errors, it shows me a screenshot "user account error", it says there is a problem with user accounts, yada yada yada. I've run everything I can think of to remove it to no avail. I viewed the source of the page that pops up and it said something about systemerrorfixer, anyone know how to get rid of this? TIA:upset::upset:

Hello ironfist-x2

SystemErrorFixer is malware

SystemErrorFixer is a fake PC cleaning tool that promises to fix all system errors but in reality does nothing. Usually SystemErrorFixer is downloaded and installed by Trojans, through browser security exploits, or via other nefarious mechanisms. Once executed, SystemErrorFixer will display fake security alerts claiming that your system is infected with hazardous parasites. This is the way how it attempts to trick the users into purchasing the full version of SystemErrorFixer application

How to fix it
Please follow our 5 Step process outlined here:

After running through all the steps, please post the requested logs in the HijackThis Log Help forum.
