I had my internet connection cut off by my ISP whilst work on the exchange was being done.
When this was resolved, I tried to get my USB DVD/RW to work.
It recognised it as "other devices" with a yellow exclamation mark in.
No drivers were needed for this device as it worked prior to the work being done.
I cannot even get the drawer to open - it has its own power supply.
I reinstalled my other usb driver (internet) to get my connection back on correctly for the internet - this works fine.
No matter what I try I keep getting no luck with the DVD RW
It is a Cyberhome EX162E-A and I had no problems at all prior to this.
It used to be listed under mass storage device
I just have "Universal serial Bus Controllers" 1) Intel(r) 82801AA USB Universal Host Controller and 2) USB Root Hub listed in device manager - both are listed as working correctly.
I have ran a virus check plus spyware check with no results.
PLEASE HELP - I HAVE TRIED FOR A WEEK BEFORE ASKING FOR HELP.
