Hi
Am having the same issue - any USB device when plugged in gives me a blue screen and restarts immediately. Too short time frame to capture the blue screen contents.

I tried uninstalling the drivers for USB in the device manager. I only have 4 USB ports but I see 12 USB Controllers (not sure if this is normal). I can uninstall all but one - when I do the last one , it throws the same blue screen and restarts - I think that is the rogue port - it reads as
Intel(R) 82801G(ICH7 Family) USB2 Enchanced Host Controller-27CC

Any suggestions ? am stuck !

turn off the auto reboot
control panel /system/advanced/startup and recovery settings
then untick the auto reboot box
post any bsod error messages the computer freezes on in full

Thank you for your response - Here it is ...I was able to stop the reboot and capture the info :
update: I uninstalled all controllers and also tried to reinstall the rogue driver by downloading it from the net - I still have the same issue :-( - BoSD doesnt go away - all controllers get reinstalled on reboot. Pls help !
