it could be a power issue and it does seem like one. hmmm.....what brand and how much power are you running on your computer?
unless it is a dell computer, you can go to your local computer shop and purchase a spare power supply at the moment to test on your computer. purchase a good brand such as antec and get at least a 400watts power supply.
assuming you purchase a spare power supply, test it on your computer and see if the problem goes away. i it does then your main power supply is faulty. the reason why i say unless its a dell is because if you got a dell computer, dell makes their computers propriertory so you cant use another brand of power supply. you will have to get one through them.
