Wish to upload Attach.zip to the forum from a W2K machine ... as it doesn't have in-built zipping facility, please advise which 3rd-party zip-tool you can work with. (I assume Winzip is out of the question in the same way that WinRar is.)

7zip is another but using a trial of Winzip or WinRAR should also work fine. I've never had any issues with any of these on Win2K.

Thanks JMPC. Yes, I know that WinRAR and Winzip work with W2K - however the forum rules mention that zipped files (such as Attach.zip) are not to be uploaded to this website by the use of a trial pkg like WinRAR and, on that basis, I assumed the same would apply to Winzip...

I think that statement meant to not attach .rar files. Using Winzip or even WinRAR would be fine as long as the format is .zip.
