Please Help.

I just upgraded my motherboard and cpu and now when I power up the system the floppy light doesn't come on and nothing happens.

I have tried twisting the cables. One way the light to floppy just stays on and the other way, no light. Ive changed the cables. Unplugged and plugged back in the power to the floppy. I have tried a different cpu (known to work). I have also tried other floppy drives and still nothing.


Any ideas at all would GREATLY be appreciated.

Thanks for your input. The CPU is New Celeron 1.3 in box

The Motherboard is a pull. Made by Asus. I have the same motherboard running in another system I built a short while back. It's a good motherboard that was made for an HP Pavillion. I have no problems with other motherboard. It is however possible that the current M/B could be damaged. Not sure.
