So I am running Office 2003 on Windows 10 and it seems to me I should upgrade. Outlook 2003 seems to be getting very flaky.

I have read about all sorts of problems upgrading Outlook 2003 to Office 365 and all sorts of different solutions.

Can anyone advise the best way forward? I have about 75,000 emails from the past 10 years which I need to have continuing access to

From what you said, obviously back-up .pst Files. Office XP and 2003 are not totally compatible with Windows 10 as MS has indicated. The big thing is to install 365 locally (Stand Alone). Now the .pst and Contacts will be usable. If you want to go Web based, further investigation is needed.
