The answer to that would depend on what you are using the hosts file for. This file is virtually almost obsolete and most systems don't have one at all.
Updating my HOSTS file
Looking through C: this morning I noticed that the date on the subject file (located in C
ocuments and Settings/Windows/System32/Drivers/Etc) was dated 3/16/2010. I am wondering how often others update this file, and whether I should just set it as a monthly task? Or maybe even more often. Thanks for any feedback information.
